It’s my 40th year and it was either buy a Harley Davidson or cycle the length of Britain, and as you a can read I’ve chosen the cheap option. I will be joined by my Dad Pete, and his best mate Mike. It will be my first time cycling Lands End John O’Groats. The purpose of my journey is to spend two weeks with my dad, see the length of our wonderful country and raise some money for St Luke’s hospice in Winsford. Starting on the 14th August 2009 I will be blogging our progress.
Si - try smiling for the camera! Jillx

Hi- have just had a lovely few days with Edith at the van (may need a new liver!!!)Edith has been keeping me up to date with your advetures from your regular phone calls. Colin thought you were doing John o Groats to Lands End so when he found out you were at Plymouth- he thought you had nearly finished!!!! I think you are all fantastic to take on such a challenge. Keep up the good work and enjoy your stay at home. I will donate £10 to each of you (Pete and Si). Lots of love Gwyn (Make sure you are fit and well for the wedding do!)
